Dear network,

I am planning to use a model of air pipe, preferably in TRNSYS or Modelica to simulate its performance as an "air-to-ground heat exchanger". As far as I know, there should be accurate models in CFD; however, they are too detailed and computationally expensive. On the other hand, there are pipe models in the aforementioned platforms, but I am not sure how reliable they are in considering thermo-fluid phenomena e.g. turbulence.
