I want a source that explains how SPH deals with friction modeling example Coulomb friction. This can be for either Abaqus or LS-Dyna or any other software that explains how they can detect contact between two solid bodies and account for friction.
I am interested to your question (similar to my case).and will explain in detail soon. Bit hurry for this time, please consult me.
A good article on this subjet is :
Solid friction at high sliding velocities: an explicit 3D dynamical SPH approach
it present realistic 3D numerical simulations of elastic bodies sliding
in a regime of velocities ranging from meters to tens of meters per second using SPH method.
