I have synthesized an oligopeptide of 12 amino acids length, which is an immunodominant region of a larger antigen. I just want to know, if there is any simple protocol to raise polyclonal antibody given the disadvantage that the oligopeptides are poor immunogens.

Probably the simplest protocol would be to administer your peptide with an adjuvant such as Alum (aluminum salts) or MF59 (emulsion of squalene). You can also choose other substances like Freund's complete adjuvant, however if you are going through preclinical studies you might want to stick to alum, which is the most common immunogen present in vaccines. MPL1 or MF59 can be other options... the latter was approved for a flu vaccine (fluad) in Europe a few years ago.
Other strategies would imply the use of proteic scaffolds, liposomes, virosomes or other polymeric particles.
However, without a background on your experiments it is pretty hard to recommend which strategy would be more suitable for your purposes.

My experiment is develop a sandwich based dipstick ELISA for qualitative estimation of epsilon toxin produced by Clostridium perfringens in animals succumbed to Enterotoxemia. The idea is to produce polyclonal antibody against the peptide ''SFANTNTNTNSK'' peptide identified as immunogenic and protective motif of the epsilon toxin.

In which animal you want to develop poly clonal antibody accordingly antigen to be there with you. You may try with your peptide first and check the generation of antibody. If the antibody is not developed by native oligopeptide then you have to conjugate with the carrier protein. I am attaching my papers go through it and get back to me for further clarification
