Hi,

I'm hoping someone can please give me some guidance about non-parametric tests.

I'm trying to find out which non-parametric test I can run to compare two different groups over two time points. I've seen answers here recommend running a Friedman test for three groups over two time points:

https://www.researchgate.net/post/What_non-parametric_equivalent_could_I_use_to_compare_the_means_of_three_groups_over_two_time_points

However, every reference and tutorial I can find specifies the Friedman test is for one group over three or more time points (Andy Field SPSS guide, you-tube tutorial, statistics websites, SPSS help files)

I think I could use Mann-Whitney U to compare the two different groups at one time point, and could use the Wilcoxon Rank Sum test to compare one group over two time points, but is there a non-parametric test I can use to compare the two groups over two time points? (I think I'm looking for non-parametric equivalent of a repeated measures ANOVA?)

If there is such a test, can anyone please point me to a reference or tutorial video that explains how that works for two groups over two time points?

Thanks so much for any help!

Rachel
