The education system in the Republic of Serbia, which at the moment comprises more than 1.4 million students and about 120, 000 employees (teachers, pedagogues, psychologists, and administrators).
The on-going education reform aims to improve the quality, equity, and relevance of education and training system, in order to better match the needs of the labour market, as well as to progressively align to the European Union standards, policy and practice.
I don't know whether its the method or a new method , I follow the interactive method. For this method, I generally start the class with story telling to attract the attention of my students. When they are really concentrated in situation I go for the serious study matters and my result is excellent. Students percentage of my class is most of the time more 95 always! I enjoy !!
I am situated in the higher education sector, so I can share some of the strategies used for addressing lags in graduate students research and developing their critical thinking and collaborative skills:

Best wishes for the Christmas season and New Year,
In my country there is a permanent improvement of the educational system, we have recently entered the third cycle of improvements organized and directed by the Central Institute of Pedagogical Sciences, but it is a state policy.
The implementation of these improvements is experienced, previously, in 162 selected schools, throughout the country.
The improvement is assumed with new forms of work, from the institutional curriculum, which implies the educational projects of the school and each of the groups, together with the general curriculum.
The need to look for a greater correlation between the methodological work and the quality of the classes taught and the learning outcomes are identified.
The integration of the school, the students and the community is strengthened, as well as the leadership of the student organizations in the centers. The family has stood out in this whole process.
The III Improvement proposes the transformation of methods and styles of work in the teaching institution; as well as the work of educators and students with new plans and study programs, textbooks, methodological guides and workbooks.
In my country, our disciplines are guided by separate policy documents. My area is science education, so for K-12 education, the recently released Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS, https://www.nextgenscience.org) provide aspirational guidance in what should be taught and learned over time. There are many new initiatives in the NGSS but one that is major is making connections among science, computer science, and engineering. Because of the NGSS, my research team is studying the integration of computational thinking in teacher education with the goal of studying how the learners of such prepared teachers may be impacted by this initiative in their science education. What strategies may be beneficial (and to what degree) or NOT (and for what reasons) to enact this initiative is of central interest for us to investigate.
