I am trying to model trabecular bone which has similar behaviour as open(closed) cell foams. I know that some material models accept a compression stress-strain curve + a tension stress cut-off value. but is the a material which has both compression and tension stress-strain curves as input?

For concrete, I used the load-displacement resp. stress-strain curve of bending instead of compression and tension.
I used the material model "Mela" (multilinear-elastic) within Ansys Mechanical, the input values came from a 4-point-bending-test
(force-displacement normalized to stress-strain). The softening behaviour/stiffness degradation of the concrete was modelled only from the measured experimental values. There were no convergence problems at all.
