I am attempting to detect a number of proteins expressed by a bacterium during infection in a mouse model. However, the presence of mouse proteins in the serum and tissues is hindering the results and I have only been able to detect a few proteins from the bacterium.

I think that the most appropriate strategy would be to identify the desired protein and carry out its immunoprecipitation.
