If it's effective vaccine then it's a good news. The problem is their unnecessary hiding tendency and not following all the steps of trials to be the first in vaccine race.

I was excited to hear the news of the vaccine from Russia, then I tuned to CNN and there were all sorts of question marks put over the Russian claim. It was then I remembered that it is actually a race by major World economies as to who gets a vaccine first, and this breeds unhealthy competition, propaganda and politicisation of the whole process. So whether Russia has a working vaccine or not, we may not really know because the rest of the world will tell us something different until it is them who come up with a vaccine first - the politics of Covid-19.

If the new Russian vaccine could solve the corona crisis I would be the happiest man in the world.

Many laboratories in the world including India are sincerely working on the development of vaccine. It is too early to give any opinion about the safety, and potency till the vaccine undergoes clinical trial on large number of people.
