I am going to use a chemical and I found its dose to the rats and it is not clear for the mouse
can I use the same dose as it depends on weight?
Dose are given according to the body weight, you may keep the concentration same.
Generally the dose for mice will be higher compare to rats based on body surface area.
The above statement is for small molecules like drugs, it may vary as per your study design.
I think Dr. Tiwari is right. IT will depend on the body weight. And by that standard, rats will go with higher amount. Concentration, however, can remain the same.
I don't think surface area has any significant role to play.
This might sound very basic question, but please share with me an explanation of how the T cell is activated when the antigen is not a peptide? What happens? And what are the molecules involved in...
