Supreme being GOD is certainty & when we talk or in our prayer we pray to our GOD in order to receive the grace & the kingdom of GOD ,we should not become so to say a doubting Thomas.
God is within every human beings in the form of our SOUL which remains all the time with us & never disappear even after our last journey .
The question of existence of our GOD is to remain totally with us .If we do not have the faith & total surrounded in our prayer & worship we will not be in a position to establish the link between us & GOD to whom so ever you believe .
When we talk regarding the GOD as a biological being we are certainly considering GOD has a human being in the human form & we should worship him as a human form .
The importance consideration between GOD & his biological form ,we are forgetting the basic fact that they are an incarnated in our human form & their basic end is to establish a total humanitarian forms to the entire human beings .
GOD comes as an incarnate in the form of human being to help ,guide ,& to show the path of divinity within every human being so that man can live happily ,& peacefully .
With this question ,after viewing the general atmosphere of our universal ,Are we not feeling the utmost necessity of GOD as an incarnated in human forms!!
Universe had a start. Per Standard Model and The Pearlman Spiral cosmology models.
Law of the conservation of matter: we do not get something from nothing.
Therefore G-d (the creator of the initial singularity ie all physical matter is supernatural .)
Abraham determined not only is G-d the designer and creator of the laws of nature (as Adam-Shem knew and already taught) but continues to manage and sustain creation.
Also Judaism and I assume Islam this is a basic principle of faith/knowledge so the OP claim 'all major religions endorse this view'.is flawed.
Why you think in negative terms, Contzen. It is the intention which may be bad or good. god has no bad intention. If we have cognitive abilities then why not God. God is the source of everything.
Almost every religion talks about meditation /one pointedness/concentrating while in prayers. In Hindu scriptures , both Nirakar (formless) and Sakar (form) have been mentioned. But Human mind finds it difficult to practice Nirakar (formless), i.e to focus on formless. I feel considering God as a Biological being Would help in practicing Sakar (form).
No, God isn't a biological being, assuming the Abrahamic monotheistic tradition. Since God is the cause of the universe (all time, space, matter, and energy), and the cause of space and matter must lie beyond space and matter, God is immaterial, not biological. Hence God is spirit, not body.
Well, Christianity seems to answer this in the affirmative. If Jesus is God as per the Holy Trinity, yet had a human body, was of woman born, grew from a baby into manhood, experienced hunger, ate food, etc., and then suffered and died, it sure sounds like he was a biological being for some finite portion of his existence. On the other hand, the Valentinians claimed that Jesus never had to defecate, so maybe his metabolism was more like Groot's than like a human's.
Anirudh, you say that you "think biological is both material and immaterial". I can tell you that you think wrong! Only living things can be biological. The rest, you decide for yourself.
BTW, don't bring God anywhere close to Biology because Biological principles were created to destroy the God hypothesis and are proving pretty good at it...
So many ideas there Anirudh but let's start with this: when you say that "Even the tiniest particle has life. It partakes in life process", you are equating partaking in life process with having life. Are they not different things?
Also you need to define what you mean by "tiniest particle".
