La lógica detrás de cualquier tipo de estructura de educación superior es el empoderamiento, el empoderamiento de todos los interesados. Tales estructuras de empoderamiento reducen la libertad de pensar a través de la subyugación y esta es la única razón del despilfarro académico. El impulso emancipatorio del conocimiento se viola constantemente.

Thank you for the interesting question.

You had raised this question at a peaceful time. Since then, the world has been turned upside down. If I look at your question, standing at the current date, then I have to say that the present higher education structure is not helping us to earn academic freedom. The pandemic is responsible for that. Curtailed syllabus, absence of On-Job-Training and online classes are hindering academic freedom.

In my opinion, this structure is the result of an effort to just maintain the continuity of academics. So, it lacks self reflexive potential.

Right now, in the times of the pandemic, we are happy to just maintain the continuity of education. We are not at all thinking about overcoming academic waste.

Blended learning opportunities, 21st century base National Policy on Education (e.g., India's NEP2020) with supporting autonomy given to higher institutions have helped reduce academic wastes, and upgrade professional practices. At Ihtisham M. m - right, the current higher education system is running on publishing peer reviewed papers, seminars and professionalism, that is the Philosophy in part. But I, definitely, do not agree that " the race for more publication created more problems" rather has improve academic rigour and brought alive research culture in our graduate programs and academic career. Reproducible Research and Curated Publication removes "duplicity" and illusion of contribution or value knowledge when there have been advancements, innovative smoothening of solutions and systematic reviews of the literature. The problem of predatory journals and plagiarism are being addressed by publicity, online softwares to detect plagiarised contents and standard upholding stakeholders activities and social academic discussion like on Researchgate here.

Updated theoretical contents, with related practical application in a social-enquiry context assignments or group projects, as well as integrated industrial experience (IT during holidays or allotted periods along school calendar) have a significant advantage on improving Education standard, helping low achieving students and reduces drop outs, impracticable or irrelevance to real workplace practices or other forms of education wastages.
