Hello do you know any comercial Ab anti-Listeria monocytogenes, which dont have cros-reactivity with others members of Listeria spp. or S. aureus? It is like to try find unicorn. Thank you
if you have a polyclonal, you could try to absorb it against the undesired species.
Or generate your own, esp. if you can identify an abundant surface protein that is specific for L. monocytogenes. If there is no such protein, compare abundant surface proteins against the other species and choose a unique that is region for raising a peptide antibody against it. Both strategies require some effort, but might be worth considering, esp. if you should need large amounts of antibody.
On the other hand, a molecular assay by (q)PCR might be the quickest and most affordable solution as long as you don't need to generate any images or FACS data.
