My raw materials are oil palm fronds (OPF) and empty fruit bunch (EFB), in which I will extract lignin.

So I am using NMR spectroscopy to amalyze the structure of OPF, EFB and lignins.

I know that lignin is soluble in DMSO. but, is OPF and EFB soluble in DMSO only? My lab is capable of conducting nmr for samples that are soluble in deuterated solvents only, such as methanol acetone and DMSO.

Can anyone help?
