I want to do a cell cycle synchronization of mouse ESCs in M phase. I need to do a mitotic shake-off and re-plate my cells, and follow progression of the cell cycle. The protocol I found suggests demelcocine, but we only have monastrol right now. Is monastrol also suitable for the same purpose?
