As many other researchers, I'm having a hard time measuring plasma LPS levels by the LAL (limulus amoebocyte assay) method. If ELISA is more consistent and precise it would be a solution. I wonder, however, about its sesitivity, and about possible artifacts (as the ones occurring with the LAL method).

   Else, I would be grateful if someone can recommend a commercial testing service to send my samples.
