Dear Mathematicians,

I am a self-taught researcher and high school student with a deep passion for mathematics. Recently, I've been exploring some intriguing problems, particularly around the behavior of hailstone sequences in the context of the Collatz conjecture (3n + 1 problem) and prime number distribution. My approach has been to analyze these sequences in detail, as I believe that understanding their behavior is essential to making any progress towards a proof.

In the course of my research, I've discovered some interesting patterns that suggest a connection between hailstone sequences and certain well-known infinite sequences. These observations have even led me to reconsider some foundational mathematical concepts, as the results challenge current standards and conventions.

I would greatly appreciate any advice on whether to continue developing and formalizing these ideas. Additionally, if you think it would be worthwhile, I would be grateful for any guidance on the process of publishing such findings. Thank you very much for your time and insight.

Best regards, Ziad Rabea
