I have analysed per cent survival data of an insect and also find out its arc sine transformed values. Is it appropriate to mention these values if I have analysed my data using Tukey's HSD post hoc?
Currently, data transformation is no longer recommended, frequently it does not improve normality and statistician tend to disagree with it! You could have used Generalized linear models with adequate distributions depending on the variables you tested. Survival data should be analysed using Cox proportional survival regression analysis and represented using Kaplan Meier survival curves.
I agree with the answer of Prasun Karmakar. However, if, for whatever reason, you chose to transform your data, make sure to mention why and how you did it in the Materials and Methods section of your paper. In the Results section, specify that the data reported (say in the Tables) was "transformed".
Maybe you can add it as supplementary material in ResearchGate, once your article is published. Explaining more thoroughly why you chose that transformation of your data. This will help others with a similar problem.
