Hi Usman Ahmed Adam if i understand true, your items scale levels are all ordinals like 3 caregories or 5 categories. If it is true all ordinal type techniques you can use. For item parameters DWLS, for constructs polychoric correlation matrix. If your items scale levels are nominal and ordinal, i suggest IRT methods for mixed response formats. Or other way is you can turn your ordinal variables to nominal variables and conduct nominal EFA. It is possible also.

I think that you can also use that type of scales if I have already had a previous adaptation, besides I don't believe that there is difficulty if they are options 3-5-7, also there are authors that suggest to use in scalar variable.
