One can store tissues containing differentiated cells for no more than 24 hours after removal from an individual if immediately placed into an ice cold solution consisting of culture medium + 10% FBS, at pH 7.4, and stored at 4C. The exceptions are organs that synthesize and secrete digestive enzymes, such as the exocrine pancreas. 

it should be store to 4 degrees and less than a day, I used to that and did not have any problem though.
