We can create different graphics using R. However, having these graphs in other languages like Persian or Arabic is not easy. Unfortunately most of journals in these countries accept graphs in Persian language. It would be great if we could have the possibility for simple graphics like histograms, bar plot, interaction plot and box plot to be created in these languages.
Do you have any suggestion to solve this problem in R?

One solution for typing numbers and ... in R in Farsi is changing windows language to Persian. It works for me!
I would say to see if R has built-in support by experimenting as follows (for French) but I cannot find the code for Persian. I tried "fa", "far", "pe" and "per" (based on standardized codes at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persian_language) but none worked. Maybe the code is wrong, or maybe R has not been translated.

Thank for your response. I am not also sure that there are translation possibility in Persian. I think most popular codes are "Per" and "Fa".
According to the fast developing of R software in Persian scientific communities having translation or writing in this language are promising. I was searching in google to find solution but according to similarity between name of software with Persian letter R no special results researcher can find!. It would be great if we present tips to be useful for researchers in future.

There is a packages in r called : farsi
- install.packages("farsi")
- library(farsi)
- > farsi(1:10)
[1] ﯾﮐ دو ﺳﻪ ﭼﻬﺎر ﭘﻧﺝ ﺷﺵ ﻫﻓﺕ ﻫﺷﺕ ﻧﻪ دﻩ
But it doesn't show the numbers integer in Farsi, until you change your windows language to Perisan. There is also an attempt from one of my friends to translate R to the Farsi, you can follow this project here:

One problem which should be considered is differences in decimal separator in Persian language which use slash than dot. Have you solved this problem as well?

You'r right. It is a big problem for Persian language people that may cause many misunderstandings and complexity. Personally, I've never use slash instead of dot, unless I forced to do it !!!
One solution in windows OS is changing the Number settings from Region and Language in Control Panel. You only need to change dot to slash, then it works in whole windows programs and R.
It's a long time since this question has been brought up, but it may still be someone's question. This is possible using the "extrafont" package..

loadfonts(device = "win")
line 2 only needs to be run once for any R version, whereas line 1 and 3 should be executed in each session.
When you have the fonts installed, you may use for example:
family = "B Nazanin"
in your theme to have Farsi characters in plots.
You're good to go if you have integers in your plot, but in the cases where you have non-integers, decimals show as "." instead of "/" we use in Persian.
you can solve this by the gsub function where you have the numbers. for example:
geom_text(aes(label= ifelse(variable%%1==0, variable, paste(gsub("\\.", "/", variable)))
