It is possible! There are many studies showing the activity of metabolites isolated from bacterias with effect against pathogenic fungi. I think Streptomyces is a good choice. For example, this recent work shows activity against a phytopathogen, but there are also many studies for human pathogens. The methodologies in many cases are the same. I think yes, it could be. As from the fungus Penicillum notatum , it has gotten the antibacterial Penicillin, so chance to have an antifungal agent/s from bacterial metabolites is possible.
