The inclusion criteria in my case-control study is a Karyotype test results that requires the collection of blood samples (in green tubes) from recruited subjects (case and controls) but the blood samples that i already collected was (EDTA tubes) adapted to only genetic testing for (PCR techniques) not for Karyotype tests !
I'm wondering if i still can do my case-control study without considering the Karyotype test and i can mention this modification in my discussion and conclusion in my scientific paper in order to stay transparent and clear ?
i don't now if this procedure can be accepted in my study paper by journals.
