No. I don't know of ever having seen evidence indicating that this is even possible.

I'm a student in biomedical engineering program specializing in bioelectrics. Most of our lessons focus on electric circuits and so on, so we don't have many courses that focus on biological studies.
Since in one of my classes,the professor brought up this interesting question about possibility of transferring data to mind by stimulating neurons just like plugging in an USB to computer, I was eager to know if anyone have studied about this or anything similar.
There'll be a day that impossibles become possible..

@ Gabriele Scheler: Would You volunteer to have your skull opened and have your brain manipulated for an experiment like that? Go ahead - i'm shure you will find someone in America who will do this to you.
I am afraid that the question involves a confusion. By stimulating certain areas of the brain you can give a subject a variety of experiences, including memory recall and pain. But you are not transferring those experiences from anybody (or anywhere) else. You can also transfer genes into brains and give those brains new experiences. For example, you can have mice experience colors that they could not experience before. But I do not think it is possible to give some knowledge of specific words in a foreign language by transferring some cells. First, being able to remember, understand, and use words involves many different and complex areas of the brain. Such transplant would simply be impossible. Second, even the attempt would be highly unethical since it would kill the donor.
I had suggested a similar thought experiment in my book Radical Knowledge (Hackett, 1981). It might work for colors, but not for words in a foreign language. The reason is that the color areas in both brains would handle the same input similarly, at least often, whereas the foreign word has to be handled by many areas of the brain, including not just the Auditory Area, but areas in the temporal and frontal lobes that had to do with meaning, context and interpretation. The brain that doesn't have that foreign language in its background would not be able to make much sense of this input taken from the other brain. Indeed, even at the lexical discrimination stage it might fail to tell that it is a word and not a noise.
