Hello everyone, I am working in breast cancer and wanted to do in vivo studies in breast cancer mice models. Here we do not have the facility to maintain immune-deficient mice, and I have MCF-7, BT-474, and SK-BR-3 cell lines for my study.
Can anyone suggest to me how can I induce breast tumors using these cell lines in normal immune-competent mice?
One more query which I have is "if any mice cell lines are available which overexpress HER2" please suggest from where I can get the cells.

You will have to use cell line derived from HER2 transgenic mice like H605 breast cancer cell line . These cells are HER2 positive and over express HER2. Do you have transgenic facility ? If yes, you can develop MMTV-LTR driven neu/ERB2 mouse models.

You are using human breast cancer cell line to induce tumor in mice so u need to use the immune diffident mice. Otherwise you can use the mice cancer cell line to induce the tumor in normal immune competent mice.
