Hi,
I want to make a preform of my designed photonic crystal structure using 3D printer.
For, 3D printer it is useful to have .STL file format of the proposed design.
In my computer, I can export .mphbin, .mphtxt, and .vba but I need the .STL format.
Is there any way to do that?
Note that, my designed model is 2D.

I had successfully export the 3D structure as STL file and 3D printed.
1. Which version is your comsol? My is 5.1.
2. Can you extrude your 2D one to 3D as you wish and try again?
