Hello everyone,
I am wondering if I could simulate two or more simultaneously moving heat source in ABAQUS using DFLUX. Right now I have found and implemented several subroutines using only one heat source at the time, however for further development of my project I would like to see if is it feasible or not for two or more laser beams to be modeled and how it could be made into ABAQUS.
Ps.: I know that some fellows implemented it in ANSYS.

You would be able to apply many load heat such as DFLUX and so on, just be careful about defining element or elements that you need to apply heat flux.

You can do by defining different loads. Do you have any experience in simulation of laser welding?
Thank you very much Erfan. As soon as I understood your answer, I have to define the sets of elements of each different path I want for my heat flux to be applied and call them in independent steps.
Mehrshad, thanks for the reply. I don't have experience, but recently I am reading a lot about it, since I am trying to simulate Powder bed laser melting process and both have some points in common. Specially about the moving heat source modeling.
Actually, I found a basic DFLUX code for laser welding process. I do not know it works for your topic or no! and I still have some problems for a basic run.
Firstly, you need to define some element sets and after this section you must apply your body heat fluxes to them; secondly your elements need to be recognized as temperature-displacement or optionally temperature-displacement-pore pressure elements.
