As background, in my model, my independent variable is visual clutter which has two conditions (higher visual clutter/ low visual clutter) and the conditions measure the amount of visual clutter in an Augmented reality sports setting depicted through illustrations. Within these two conditions, the sport type, basketball and soccer (2 created AR sports illustrations per conditions) are statistically different through analysis of a paired- samples t-test. They differ with regards to the dependent variable: consumer satisfaction.
I am running process by Hayes in SPSS, how can I include sport type as a covariate for the analysis? I am supposed to create a dummy variable but I don,t know how to do that as both are continuous variables and constituents of the dependent variable (Consumer satisfaction for both sports grouped together).

I just read the paper and it does not answer my question.
To provide more detail: I think the setup is a mixed study design, being a between-subjects for the two conditions (higher versus lower visual clutter) but within the separate conditions, it is a within-study design as participants see both the basketball and soccer conditions. So the problem is that I can,t seem to create a dichotomous variable for Sport type. Is there a way I can circumvent this?
Sebastian, it sounds as though you have a 2x2 between-within (or mixed) design. If so, why in the world are you trying to use the PROCESS macro? The conventional approach would be to use Analyze > GLM > Repeated Measures, as shown in this document (and many other tutorials you can find online):

And if you want simple main effects of one variable at both levels of the other, use EMMEANS with the COMPARE option, as shown here:
