if electron populations are trapped in the potential well, created in the plasma by any instability. how these electrons get detrapped in weakly collisional regime?. what will happen when these electrons interacts with higher ( 50 - 60 ev) and lower (3-5 ev) energy electrons?. will be possibility for change the energy too much so that two groups of populations appear in the plasma system? please tell me possibility.
Your question is too general. You need to specify the conditions in order to obtain a good answer. The cross section of e-e collisions decreases for increasing electron energy. Therefore, the probability of collisions between energetic electrons (50 eV) and low energy electrons is too low. If the distance between electrodes is small such collisions will not happen. In order to "detrap" electrons you need to make them non-resonant with the instability.
