This is a great question. The bridge of connection is the harmonic energy pulsation of love, heartfelt empathic communion, the "dance" of non-dualistic participatory attunement, or viewing phenomena from any particular area of inquiry or field of endeavor within the context of the indivisible wholeness of reality and its dynamic interactions with other phenomena. The gap is divisive, exclusive, absolutist thinking, which blinds us to the relational, dynamic, flexible nature of reality. Holistic, integral, relational ways of thinking, feeling, and functioning have been described as "The Perennial Philosophy" (Aldous Huxley), and have also been espoused by various other prominent philosophers, psychologists, and visionaries from diverse perspectives, such as, Martin Buber, Ken Wilber, Roberto Assagioli, Abraham Maslow, Alfred Adler, Erich Fromm, Lynne McTaggart, Marianne Williamson, Nassim Haramein, Gregg Braden, Rupert Sheldrake, David Bohm, Jiddu Krishnamurti, and many others.

I know many other people who can be on the list, even myself I don't see division but I experience it.

It is also true that Bohm and Chrishnamurti were not on good terms at the end. Bohm got even a depression of it.

It is possible that in the holostic field we also can see division.

As Sheldrake want to connect his field with that of Jung but are we sure that they mean the same thing.

It seems to me that the greater unity of life as love can include division, discord, and disagreement if people are willing to dialogue in a constructive, respectful, manner, and be truly open to considering the possible merits of another person's viewpoint that differs from their own. I agree with what you say, that the holistic field can include and embrace division, as part of the greater wholeness of reality. This way of thinking and functioning requires great openness, flexibility, compassion, as well as awareness and acceptance of the paradoxical, untidy, unpredictable, uncertain, aspects of experience. The best way to resolve division is to be open to experiencing and accepting it, without taking an exclusive enduring inflexible position for or against either side of the whole argument or equation. I have the intuitive impression that the whole reality uses polarity or extreme division between opposite sides in order to clarify the whole continuum of experience, which includes every aspect of the whole spectrum as well as the most extreme sides. We need not necessarily view the whole field of experience or energy in the same identical way, but we should be open to exploring significant differences, similarities, and complementarities between our particular viewpoints, as in the case of Sheldrake and Jung; or Bohm and Krishnamurti. We can disagree without becoming disagreeable if the dialogue is respectful, sincere, compassionate, and on good terms, appreciating the natural merits of the other person and his or her views.

This is all true, but the gap can also lie in the schizophrenia of one person only.

As the field of science and art is not yet unified I see also the schizophrenia in the society.

Polarity is inherent to nature but we didn't learn to handle this problem.

If complementarity is working out it is indeed beautiful.

Researchgate is already a step in the good direction.

Schizophrenia develops in individuals, personal relationships, and society when we become overly absorbed in complex mind chatter and resistive reactive emotions, or overly partisan, extreme, and one-sided value judgments. Reunification of our whole individual being (including heart, mind, and body; as well as science and art), relationships, and society occurs naturally, effortlessly, when we step back from egocentric or distancing interpretations of reality, and instead, let ourselves become self-forgetful in fully immersed communion with the relational flow of inner and outer energy- experience. In that non-dualistic, participatory, empathic communion with the flow of energy-experience, we are able to intuit the Great Mystery beyond words, which is the utmost simplicity that naturally unifies and harmonizes the many polarities that exist. When we are focusing on direct experience rather than superimposing preconceived presumptive interpretations and divisive partisan reactive evaluations, from the outside, that deeper communion produces deeper insight, and heals or bridges the gaps between polarities through the healing relational energy of love that flows through us when we accept and abide within the utmost simplicity and seamless wholeness of being, beyond words. That utmost simplicity is the source of limitless creative insight, intuition, and integrity, which can help us to navigate the sometimes turbulent waters of life, like an inner GPS, compass, or lighthouse beacon. It seems to me that great works of science and poetry, as well as of all other fields of inquiry and endeavor come from being open to exploring the Great Mystery of intuition and non-conceptually mediated direct experience of energy even when it leads us beyond what is currently known, or beyond what can be grasped in limited words, or even when it reveals what is too paradoxical, dynamic, and wonderous to be adequately grasped by any definition or linear thinking.

We can learn to manage a ‘dynamic paradoxicalism’, which carries the opposites a little further, till we find that they are different elements of a higher unity.

To see this we can’t be fixed on the linearity of things, the one dimensionality, but must be willing to ascend a little higher where everything gets a more fluid character.

But I know that this is not a solution of the problem, even the word paradoxicalism carries the ‘ism’ which it wants to transcend. Probably I feel good within the gap so that I can switch from one end to the other.

To use another word more common in science is 'incoherence' There is a lot incoherence between the bio and the non- bio systems.

As I see 'life' in everything I experience, I feel more the incoherence between science, religion and art.

If we realise what W. Pauli has done to close the gap between psychology and physics. there is no other way as to follow the idea of connection between matter and mind. This is the way of adventure in the research of the values and qualities hidden in nature, this is what experience is about in the spacetime schedule of the universe.

I believed that it would be possible to close the 'gap' but the more niches there are the more bridges are needed to found each other.

There are many one-man-islands, very hard to localise and much more difficult to understand.

it will be  remembered as the age of  social emotional psychological alienation , destructive loneliness,  and the fact that  '' life is a zero-sum  game.

May be, dear Rahimi,  but the weight I put in, together with that of others must make a counter-pressure.

My research or my believe is about the positive impact in an indifferent environment.

For the moment I don't know it. But I can't be indifferent in the face of those who tried to change it. I had and still know a few prophets which I follow, for whom I want to work. As my inheritance permitted it, I was easy to shape.

We learned to speak in many different languages, also the language of music, poetry, colour with many nuances, all this makes is very beautiful but difficult to find the right dialogue and receptors.

thanks for pointing out the language of poetry and music,  these are potentially strong vehicles for offering enlightenment and inspiration ,however, the question is '' to what extent this discourse is perceived, and appreciated by individuals and ''to what degree it can ward off human alienation''?  my poem titled:'' the black swan is hovering over us '' retrievable at   ''poemhunter'' can give some reflections. poetry itself is grappling with its propensity to fall into  trap of   '' intellectual elitism '' or conversely anti- intellectual philistinism.  

Yes, I agree, you see it at both sides. Once the intellectual elitism of the free jazz was a mode and was sustained by a certain group of people. Now I should think that anti-intellectual philistinism is mode, but  top-artists can't follow this lower level. 

Top musicians are coming to Afkikker for concerts and it is hard to find an audience just in front of the university. So we keep on and try different programs.

In our democratic system it is also difficult to ask subsidies for programs which attract just a few people. 

As Steve Lacy said: we follow the music and this can't never be a dead end street!

So see the gap needs consciousness. Only consciousness can bridge it.

And the gap is the soul.

Rahimi you are really right. Poetry can be everything but when it falls into good ground it can do miracles. And for these little daily miracles I do it.

But the trap is always present and there are many false prophets.
