Is it possible that OPP is different enough a alkyne analogue of puromycin that you can use it to label cells transduced with pac gene?

I transduced cells with a puromycin resistant gene (pac) and selected my shRNA cells with puromycin but I want to now carry out a puromycylation assay and can't find an alternative puromycin-likeantibiotic to probe for and wondering if I can used the Clickit OPP kit to label nascent polypeptides in my puro-selected cells?

I was wondering if you tried using the OPP in cells containing a puromycin resistance and did it work?

I am currently facing the same problem and wasn't able to get any information on this elsewhere.
