I just knew from biliary/hepatocytic secretion or food dependent cholesterol levels. But is it possible that upregulated cholesterol synthesis in immune cells can increase plasma levels?
cholesterol is a major component of cells including immune cells. In the uncoupling stage of lipid peroxidation , triglyceride is released , total cholesterol might be initially increased in the blood however if the person is not immunocompromised, plasma cholesterol/triglyceride will not be severely impacted after 24 hours.
