If I am going to do calcination in air then is it necessary that our TGA should be done in air.Suppose I have done TGA in nitrogen atmosphere but I am calcining in oxygen atmosphere then it will affect our material (metal oxide nanoparticles).
Sir I am preparing metal oxide nanoparticles so I have followed chemical precipitation method. So I have to do tga first to know its calcination temperature (material in form of hydroxides so we have to calcinate it to form metal oxide). After doing TGA I got calcination temperature then at that particular temperature i got metal oxide nanoparticles. So i am not replacing TGA with calcination. I just want to make sure that if I am doing TGA in N2 atmosphere then it is necessary that i have to do the calcination in N2 atmosphere or I can calcinate in Oxygen also. Does it affect my material ?
