I do not think this system suits them, for several reasons, the most important of which is that children are in a very important developmental stage and therefore their bodies need a lot of different food sources
A strict vegan diet for children is not healthy, because in the long term it does not provide them with an adequate amount of animal protein, such as that found in meat and milk; They also lack several vitamins and mineral salts, such as calcium, iron and vitamin B12. They also do not provide the Omega-3 fatty acid, which is found among other foods, the egg and the fish.

I think it was not advice to did this thing with children to avoid any risks of unhealthy growth of them. Here is some sentences raised from Fewtrell, a professor of Childhood Nutrition at UCL, who warned that although vegan diets are perfectly healthy, they can cause serious health problems in babies and toddlers if their parents don’t make sure they’re getting all the necessary vitamins.
Prof. Fewtrell mentioned in another position :
‘It is difficult to ensure a healthy and balanced vegan diet in young infants, and parents should understand the serious consequences of failing to follow advice regarding supplementation of the diet.
‘The risks of getting it wrong can include irreversible cognitive damage and, in the extreme, death.’
But we can safely raise our children vegan when we follow what mentioned here:
When cooking for your children, use unsweetened fortified soya milk. This contains as much calcium as cows’ milk and a similar amount of protein.
To ensure they’re getting enough protein, provide them with beans, chickpeas, lentils, soya mince, fortified soya yoghurt and tofu.
Daily vitamin A, C and D supplementation for all children aged six months to five years .
Vegan diet is not recommended for children because its lack for the all the requirements that needed for normal growth and health ,, Best regards ,,,,,,,,Jawad Ali
Vegan meal is good because it offers the vitamins children need. However, it must be balanced with other nutrients such as proteins from meat and milk and carbohydrates.
A well-planned vegetarian diet can be healthy for children. Young vegan children tend to be slightly smaller but still within normal growth ranges. And they tend to catch up to other children in size as they get older.
