Is TPP the short form of Tetraphenylporphyrin? Hard to say just from the picture....10% is a high concentration and this molecule is known as a good complexing agent, can be pure TPP or a TPP-Metal-complex too . You should isolate it and try to get additional analytic results like IR or MS, comparing to pure Chitosan.

@Sang, yes these are aggregates of TPP cross-linked chitosan. If you intend to synthesize individual microspheres, then try increasing your stirrer rpm as much as possible, and drop chitosan solution very slowly, giving time gap between each successive drop, through a small (as much as possible) diameter needle. Try to reduce the volume of chitosan solution dropped into TPP solution, so that the particles are dispersed freely and do not aggregate.
