In order to develop an experimental soil moisture model, I want to transmit different types of soil from different regions of a catchment to some experimental plot in a specific place and measure surface soil moisture variations using TDR sensor. Please advise me in methodology of this work.

Ye It is possible.
We collected soil moisture data from different depths of sunflower and wheat crops at certain times during the cropping season and tested these data with SWAP model. There were good agreements between the predicted and simulated results.
