There are many stances about the *reality* of time in science and philosophy but i believe 2 are the most important. I also mention their advocates:

** Time reality notion similar in both past and present. i.e early universe is real despite not current reality

Advogates: The overwhelming body of Scientific establishment

** Time as becoming. The past is not real. Only the present and reality is centered on becoming.

Main Advogates: Block universe theoriticians, Lee Smolin. Smolin disagrees with BU in that they endorse a "mathematical" version of time, endorses the philosophical Bergsonian* view, rendeted anti-scientific hy many, "spread at once all over space" so its unreal *not a proponent of modern science

Given that both str endorsed by modern science should we speak of duality about the reality of time ?
