Does anybody have an experience dissolving glutathione (GSH) in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF)? Merck index source says that it is soluble (20 mg/mL), but I found the opposite and so did my labmates. This is quite confusing, so I need additional results from my peers. Any comments and helpful links are greatly appreciated!

Reduced glutathione is sparingly soluble in organic solvents such as DMF it is soluble in dilute DMF and in general GSH solubility is pH dependent.try to use different sources for your chemicals check purity good luck
Abdelrahim, I am talking about neat DMF, where pH is irrelevant since the solvent is aprotic. Have you tried yourself dissolving GSH in dry DMF?
