I have Prepared Chitosan hydrogel Using Glutraldehyde cross-linking agent. glutaldehyde is toxic for cells? haw to remove or neutalize free glutraldehyde from hydrogel? haw to determine glutraldehyde in hydrogel sample?
Dear Harish Bhardwaj, yes it is toxic at a very low concentration as do all aldehyde. DNPH is the method most used to its estimating among others. Please have a look at the following references. My Regards

Are not you using a reducing agent when reacting amino and aldehyde groups? A strong reducing agent, at the end of the reaction will turn the aldehyde groups into alcohol groups.
