There are two elements to this question.

The first acknowledges that globalisation is not all good; it is certainly not pareto optimal in that it has exacerbated inequalities within countries and between regions within countries as well as between countries. The most evident source of this inequality is between people with different skill-levels - those with relatively high technical skills/human capital have generally enjoyed significant gains. Those with no/low/'traditional' skills have generally lost out.

The second element relates to the common misconception regarding the impact on inequality. i) yes inequality has increased substantially within and between countries; ii) yes some people are actually worse off in absolute terms (hence non-pareto optimal); iii) as the World Bank and Amartya Sen say, more than 500 million people have been raised out of absolute poverty by globalisation - although, predominantly in China and India; iv) a vast number of people across the globe are much better off as a consequence (the overall average has risen, look at the growth data) - improved skills, higher employment, higher productivity and higher wages (think emerging economies and many developing ones as well as the industrialised ones).

How does Sub-Saharan Africa fit into this? It is a relative late-comer owing to its often peripheral position in the global economy. Nevertheless, it has benefited from: i) global technological advances - most evident in the revolutionary impact of mobile phone communications across the continent - but also from broader innovations and lower cost producer and consumer goods; ii) there is substantially greater interaction between SSA and the global economy aided by globalisation than many realise in the form of export-led growth in high value agricultural products (e.g., from Kenya and Senegal) aided by foreign direct investment (both from outside SSA and by African firms and entrepreneurs), including manufacturing and assembly (e.g., Ethiopia etc.).

The critical question is therefore - has globalisation made Sub-Saharan Africa poorer? Taking out the effects of conflict, corruption and poor economic policies, the overall answer must be a clear no; in fact it has provided greater and more valuable opportunities which are gradually being recognised and taken with the benefits slowly filtering through.

Is globalisation perfect? No. Has it been beneficial? In general, very much so. Consider then the likely effects if globalisation goes into reverse with increasingly aggressive mercantilist trade and investment policies such as those currently being pursued by the United States... How will that work for Sub-Saharan Africa?

There is no simple or straight answer to this interesting question. Perhaps it can be answered through further questions and/or from which perspective it is framed from. As such, if you look at it from a Marxist perspective the key questions regarding Globalisation/Africa impact would revolve around who really benefits and who will be exploited?, who controls the wealth and resources?, will there be a power struggle or skills battle or increased inequalities etc and how does this shape the outcome for Africa?.... there are other perspectives as well. Good question.

Globalization both have negative and positive impact, but the mere fact that it can facilitate development, indeed embracing it must be open to every economy.For underdeveloped countries, it create more opportunities and can generate employment however it also affected much the very core values and may pose abrupt change that may also be very negative to the common people.

Globalization is both faces. One in negative side, is continuation of imperialists tendencies by connecting already exploited weaker Countries (which are most producers of raw materials) with stronger economic countries (mostly manufacturing countries).

Having said this, Globalization is also good for connecting world and hence creating one global village whereby all can benefit. You take the case of diseases including pandemic, climate change etc. You need global efforts to fight these hence the relevance of globalization
