yes, I am interested in studying human population genetics. I want to focus on ancestry inference of an admixed population. I want to work on the data mining and classification of this field.

I want to do something like the article attached. With the difference that instead of using the SVM, I use another method to classify.

Just that you should discuss this with your mentor to see what type of lab resource, expertise and guidance you would receive, what type of sampling of the online sequence data would be required etc. I wish you all the best.
