Can the book of abstracts/conference souvenirs (not full-length papers) with/without ISBN, be included here? Are these considered publications? Do they even carry points?
Indeed, the abstract book is considered among the academic background of the researcher. You have to make a difference between a book of papers (Proceedings) and a book of abstracts. The antecedent of publications with less value is the publication of the abstract. This is a quick publication, which allows to disseminate during the congress, all the topics that were presented.
