I hope its just not included in WORMS and catalogue of Fishes. As confirmed by Dr. Smith, Its a valid species.

Current status: Valid as Ariosoma gnanadossi Talwar & Mukherjee 1977. Congridae: Bathymyrinae. Distribution: Pakistan and India. Habitat: marine.
We consider the species as valid in CONGRIDAE; the species name, however, should read Ariosoma gnanadossi.

We have the type specimen which can be studied along with other specimens. I have the similar opinion as of Dr. Flickr.
We have already studied the type specimen earlier and did the X-ray. Now got some more specimens of the same species but got confused when I could not got the name from fishbase, worms and also not in the species list in catalogue of fishes. After conformation by Dr. Smith and Dr. Fricke we have concluded many of the specimens as A. granadossi from bay of Bengal.
