Congratulations for the noble method involved. I hope your institution would continue to do this so that life of Thalassemic children can be prolonged.
This method of yours is most suitable and we in Himachal are trying to impress upon authorities in blood banks to adopt the same.
Waiting for you to have larger sample for sufficient evidence.
Thank you very much for your interest. We are doing it on regular basis to prolong the transfusion interval of thalassemia Patients. It also helpful in reducing the iron over load too.
My one paper is published on the subject i.e.https://www.researchgate.net/file.PostFileLoader.html?id=592567e4b0366d5a18531df6&assetKey=AS%3A497495811211264%401495623652328
Further work is not yet documented. We have done more than 500 neocytes transfusion , results are very useful and have a definite protocol for that in our Lab. We can provide you the rough data, protocol and indications to your mail , if you provide us the same . Two workers out side the India prepared neocytes for transfusion by aphaeresis procedure.

There are two methods to procure neocytes
1. Neocytapheresis by apheresis method
2. By conventional method of centrifugation and separation method
First method is expensive one as far as Indian scenario is concern .
