In the Nanobiology Laboratory we are looking for international collaborators interested in evaluating the effect of the nanomaterials synthesized by them, in different model organisms, prokaryotes and eukaryotes (bacteria, fungi and yeasts, red blood cells, PBMCs, C. elegans, etc.). We are a newly created laboratory with researchers with extensive experience in evaluating the toxicity of nanomaterials in different organisms and we are open to collaborate with formal researchers from any source. These collaborators would be in charge of synthesizing and characterizing these new and novel nanomaterials and we would be in charge of evaluating the toxicity or the antimicrobial effect in the agreed organisms. Zaira Isabel González-Sánchez We have a long-standing practice of studying the toxicity of various nanomaterials (nanotubes, nanofibres, metal nanoparticles, fullerene derivatives, graphene particles) on prokaryotes. What I have said is confirmed by the published articles.
