Hi all,

Does anyone know if anhydrotetracycline is a substrate for TetA and is therefore pumped out of the cell by it? I would like to know if TetA might interfere with a PTet expression system by pumping out the inducer (anhydrotetracycline), thus affecting induction of the system.

I could not find literature about it so I would much appreciate if someone is kind enough to share his/her experience on the subject. Thanks in advance!
