Hi .Some part of lost vision in Retinoblastoma may be due to the tumor fluid causing a retinal detachment. If the tumor regresses, the uninvolved retina, which was simply detached may provide some vision. Involvement of Macula is another concern. A detailed examination under anesthesia helps to evaluate this best.

It is manageable. Chemotherapy now is very promising in Retinoblastoma management

Of course, malignant retinoblastoma treatable. Need to do chemotherapy and brachytherapy. If the tumor is small need TTT. I agree with Dr. Gupta.
