In my incubation study I would like to add sodium acetate (solution form) as a substrate. I am using 250ml bottles and 25 gram dry soil. Is 10mM/g dry soil as acetate (i.e., 250mM in 25gram dry soil) is too high in case of paddy soil? Can anybody suggest me?

To get correct result please mention the initial Exchangeable sodium percentage (ESP) and CEC values for ur soil

I suspect that you were asking, at least in part, about the acetate as a microbial substrate. If so put up a new post.
There should be good information about the Na tolerance of rice and I would assume that there are tolerant cutivars
