This is for thesis purposes, I have to shorten my days from 21 days because of the time requirement. Can someone suggest a timeframe that is much shorter, but still effective? Also, can anybody suggest the timeframe of when is best to get stool samples for fecal egg count analysis?
I assume you are treating some parasitized animals with a plant extract with "anthelmintic properties". I have no idea about your experimental design but I assume you know which helmints infect your animals.
If so, you know the lenght of the life cycle of these parasites.
How long does it take to develop the adult worm from the time the experimental animal eats a fertilized egg?
If you have an answer to my question, you'll have the answer to your question....
What is the length of the biological cycle of this parasite in this host? You should probably study for length of parasites generation time (like pre-patent period, larva to egg laying stage, time for schizogony/merogony?
