Making each and every thing smart and connected is going to be the new way of living and enjoying life. it remains applicable to scientific community in a great way, where huge data is likely to be seen which needs intelligent and quick logical analysis yielding optimum decisions at various levels in a lesser time with high speed. water sector is one prime platform where this important show is going to be held. We must prepare our self and also our younger generation towards this. Who know 2116 will have robot like brains and bodies to tackle enormous data and issues.
Technology cannot delineate itself from the socio-political context. What you are proposing requires tremendous political will, especially in a context like India. So ten years seems like an unrealistic projection to me.
