When trees die in one place, it can be good or bad for plants elsewhere, because it causes changes in one place that can ricochet to shift climate in another place. Therefore similar to how El Nino can affect global weather patterns; this so called ‘Forest loss’ too could emerge as an issue having same dimensions towards local and global climate.
Forest loss leads to change in habitat mainly for biodiversity therefore the ecosystems will be affected beyond its local area considering issues of cross pollination among different species to create new species, change in climate patterns making afar places vulnerable to species extinction variations from the original gene pool of another habitat.

Its really an issue which looks local and small, but it indeed is global kind of gigantic issue , which I guess is often taken very lightly and understood in a confined sphere i.e. periphery of forest which is being dealt. you have raised some good aspects, but i think these are only few.. From the point of view of total soil-vegetation cover complex under the forest cover ...it needs a smart and focused vision to realize those kind of off site impacts/implications away from any given forest area.

Yes, indeed it is just a few... . And I also think it is very complex and needs more analysis considering also the processes (geomorphological and geological) and loss of or introduction of vegetation cover involved or emanating from loss of forest has having implications especially on local communities.

I guess because it affects forest loss affect the balance of nature and thus will affect the surrounding area note that there are some objects in the forest will resort to migrate to areas surrounding forest

detection and quantification of those consequences by framing a regionalized priority matrix .......this use to be the sole challenge
